A-Vu is priviledged to have a serving Board of Directors with a depth and breadth of experience encompassing healthcare administration, healthcare law, broadband services, technology development, venture fund-raising and new business development. Their indiviidual contributions to economic growth, community infrastructure development and particularly healthcare management have had considerable positive impact at local, state and national levels.

Rachelle H. Schultz, Director

Ms. Schultz is President and CEO of Winona Health with more than 19 years experience in healthcare management. At Winona Health, located in Winona, Minnesota, Schultz oversees an independent integrated community health system which includes a 99-bed acute care hospital, a 154-bed nursing home, three assisted living facilities, physician clinics, home care and hospice programs, a pharmacy, a foundation, and related healthcare services.

From 1990-2002, Ms. Schultz worked with Banner Health System, a multi-state nonprofit healthcare system. During her tenure there, she directed rehabilitation services for a children's center, served as administrator for a skilled nursing facility, directed regional home care/hospice services and was appointed CEO/Community Administrator of Lookout Memorial Hospital and related clinic, residential and community based healthcare services in Spearfish, SD.

In her years as an administrator, Ms. Schultz has a proven record of accomplishments: They include organizational restructuring that resulted in greater efficiencies and financial performance to successful completion of building projects, successful organizational mergers, development and implementation of strategic plans, physician recruitment, and new product line development. Service excellence, performance improvement and team development are key components of her successful working style.

Ms. Schultz graduated from Georgetown University with a B.A.degree in Economics and then completed her Master's in Healthcare Administration at the University of Minnesota. She is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives. Shultz serves on the Institute for Clinical Systems Improvement (ICSI) board, Minnesota Hospital Association board (MHA), Regional Policy Board for the American Hospital Association (RPB 6), board director for Winona National Bank and Board Chair of the Minnesota Marine Art Museum located in Winona, MN.
